HOV Harlingen is the only seaport terminal in Friesland and the gateway to the Northern Netherlands. In addition to coasters and short sea vessels, HOV handles a large number of inland vessels.
Since 1980 we have been loading and unloading various cargo flows, such as (agri) bulk, project cargo and containers. We also have spacious covered storage facilities and silos. HOV is at home in many markets and offers transshipment, storage, stuffing and stripping of containers and sea freight.

Our terminal in Port of Harlingen is connected to the container terminals in the seaports of Amsterdam, Rotterdam & Antwerp via the inland container shipping corridor. With our fixed sailings your containers are in time at the right deep sea terminal in Rotterdam. Inland shipping is also a reliable alternative to road transport for import cargo.
